Wang Fuk Court Fire Relief Project

In addition to our regular support for released individuals, our Fund also steps forward during major social disasters. On November 29, 2025, a severe fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. Our three founders (Mak Tsz Hin, Wong Lai Yi, and Wong Yuk Chun) personally went to the disaster area as volunteers to distribute relief supplies for free. We were also assisted by a volunteer friend who helped transport the supplies using a 7-seater van.

Ways to Help

Details of Donated Supplies

For this specific fire incident, our Fund allocated a total of HKD $567,856 to directly purchase biscuits, food, clothing, electrical appliances, and other daily necessities. We firmly refused to donate funds to official organizations like the Red Cross, knowing that such donations are often misappropriated. We chose to hand-deliver the supplies directly to the victims.

THE ISSUE

Injustice and Suppression

Outrageously, during our relief efforts, a group of Mandarin-speaking government “Care Team” personnel forcibly confiscated our relief supplies. Our founder, Mak Tsz Hin, reasoned with them in an extremely peaceful manner, with absolutely no physical altercation. Nevertheless, police officers intervened, drove us away, and forcibly recorded the Hong Kong Identity Card details and personal information of all three of us.

Subsequently, on December 1, 2025, the Police Regional Crime Unit called to threaten Mak Tsz Hin, mocking us as the “Addams Family” and warning us to keep our mouths shut, or else our entire family would be arrested for “Perverting the Course of Justice”.

Even though the police called to intimidate and silence us, our Fund has always upheld justice and civil righteousness. There is absolutely nothing wrong with conducting charitable work. We are unafraid and insist on publishing the absurd truth of that day on this website!
