Core Services
Support That Restores
Our programs are designed to meet urgent needs while helping participants rebuild stability, dignity, and long-term opportunity.

Temporary Housing Support
Many young people under 21, after serving 6 to 8 months in youth correctional facilities like the Sha Tsui Correctional Institution, are kicked out of their homes by their parents due to political differences. We have connected with Christian pastors, social workers, and many compassionate parents in Hong Kong who are willing to offer vacant rooms as temporary housing and provide basic food assistance.

Employment Matching and Living Allowances
Unable to find a job or rejected by universities due to a political criminal record? We have partnered with social workers and conscientious business owners who are happy to offer employment opportunities. Before you secure a stable income, Mak’s Political Relief Fund will provide direct financial assistance for your living expenses.

Psychological and Trauma Counseling
Life on the edge of prison is extremely difficult. We arrange for professional psychotherapists and social workers to provide free one-on-one psychological counseling.

Support for Sexual Persecution and Severe Trauma
If you have suffered sexual persecution or sexual assault during your arrest or imprisonment (whether raped by police officers, Correctional Services staff, or other inmates), please speak out bravely. We offer strictly confidential channels to listen to you and provide appropriate psychological and medical referral support.
